Cristiano is a seasoned creative professional with a profound expertise in design and human-computer interaction, boasting over two decades of experience and a strong track record in product design and development.
At the age of 21, he established Beautyfool, a multimedia production studio that quickly rose to prominence within the vibrant cultural scene of Turin in the early 2000s. His career trajectory has been marked by a continual evolution towards the intersection of product design and technology.

A key milestone was his invention of the iOS app Quadro. This groundbreaking app, which predated Apple’s Touchbar by three years, revolutionized how iPads and iPhones interact with Mac and PC software. It simplified interaction and automation of complex tasks, earning accolades from Apple and achieving over a million users in its first year. This achievement is a testament to Cristiano’s ability to foresee and shape technological trends.

Before joining Raster, Cristiano’s career was marked by several significant ventures:

• In 2006, he co-founded Beautyfool, a multimedia design studio. Initially focusing on graphic, web, and sound design, the studio evolved to specialize in UI/UX design, reflecting Cristiano’s growing interest in user-centered design principles.
• In 2010, leveraging his experience from various digital projects, Cristiano co-founded Usefool, a UX design studio. This venture initially focused on third-party projects but soon transitioned into a startup studio, launching several innovative products. Cristiano’s role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing mobile applications at Usefool, especially Actions and Quadro, was pivotal. These apps received multiple awards from Apple’s AppStore and achieved remarkable global success.
• Between 2012 and 2018, as the visionary leader of Usefool, Cristiano not only steered the design and development of groundbreaking apps but also successfully managed the company’s finances, raising 850k in funding. His tenure as CEO was marked by strategic leadership and an unwavering commitment to innovation.
• After a prolific period at Usefool, Cristiano took a sabbatical from entrepreneurship 2019 to 2021. During this time, he worked as a freelance product manager and lead designer, collaborating with mid-to-large companies, including industry giants like Sky and Vodafone. This period was crucial for Cristiano’s professional growth, as it was during this time that he developed a deep fascination with Blockchain and DeFi technologies.

Currently, as the CTO of Raster since 2021, Cristiano is dedicating his extensive skills and passion to exploring the potential of Blockchain and DeFi, driving innovation in this exciting new domain.
